Valeriia Vasylchenko is a Legal Assistant and Technical Writer. Mrs.Vasylchenko assists attorneys in drafting legal documents for individuals seeking asylee and refugee status in the United States, petitions for victims of domestic violence (VAWA), as well as applications for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Ukrainian nationals.
Mrs. Vasylchenko was born in Dnipro, Ukraine. She graduated from Oles Honchar Dnipro National University with a Law Degree, specializing in Administrative and Criminal Law. During her studies, she completed training at the Criminal Chamber of the Court of General Jurisdiction of First Instance and worked as a Legal Assistant at a leading law firm in Dnipro, focusing on civil and family law matters.
Upon graduating from university, she worked in the Ukrainian judicial system for more than nine years. She began her career at the Dnipropetrovsk District Administrative Court as a court session secretary, and later served as a Judge’s Assistant at the Dnipropetrovsk Administrative Court of Appeal.
After relocating to Kyiv, Mrs. Vasylchenko earned a Project Management certification and managed projects for an international franchising company. She was also involved in organizing children’s charitable and commercial events.
Mrs. Vasylchenko believes that the law is a powerful tool for resolving disputes, and immigration law provides a unique opportunity to meaningfully improve the lives of clients.
