Valeriia Vasylchenko is a Legal Assistant and Technical Writer in our Humanitarian Department. She assist attorney in drafting legal documents for obtaining asylum and refugee status in the United States, petitions for victims of domestic violence (VAWA), as well as in assisting Ukrainian citizens in obtaining Temporary Protected Status in the United States.
Valeriia was born in Dnipro, Ukraine. She graduated from Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, and received Law Degree, specializing in Administrative and Criminal Law. While studying at the University, she trained at the Criminal Chamber of the Court of General Jurisdiction of First Instance, and also worked as a Legal Assistant in a leading law firm in Dnipro with civil and family law cases.
Upon graduation from the University, she worked in the Ukrainian judicial system for more than nine years. Starting her work in the Dnepropetrovsk District Administrative Court as a secretary of the court session, then Valeria worked as a Judge Assistant in the Dnipropetrovsk Administrative Court of Appeal.
After moving to Kyiv, she received a Project Management certification and directed projects in an international franchising company. She was involved in the organization of children’s charitable and commercial projects.
Valeria is convinced that jurisprudence helps in resolving any disputes, and immigration law is an opportunity to change the lives of clients for the better.
