Hiring Business Law Paralegal

Required Skills

1. Familiarity with legal terminology in business law.

2. Maintains subject matter expertise on foreign business laws and other applicable rules, regulations and trends in the industry and corporate geographies.

3. Fluent in Russian language.

Responsibilities

1) Review firm`s clients` business documentation in Rusian language in order to determine their qualifications for business visas.

2) Conduct research, verify case intelligence, and communicate requirement to clients and prepare written analysis to attorneys.

3) Produce and file various legal documents such as appeals and motions.

4) Drafting case specific written petitions, legal memorandums, and factual responses to requests for additional evidence.

5) Monitoring and ensuring compliance with state and federal rules and procedures.

6) Coordinating with foreign counsel for collection of necessary business and legal documents for U.S. Visas.

7) Responding to all client requests and effectively communicating progress, regarding the pending legal action to clients.

8) Sets up and maintains paper and electronic files, including daily and regular filing.

9) Works with business attorneys to ensure issues are properly analyzed, evaluated, and optimally solved according to internal policies, applicable law, and regulatory guidance.

10) Assist attorneys in reviewing and analyzing cases from inception through approval by USCIS.
